Welcome to the Estey Labs, southern Vermont’s new home for making at the Estey Organ Museum in Brattleboro.
Join us for our first series of hands-on workshops and learn to make instruments, music, toys, electronics and machines. There’s something for everyone.
Download the 2012 Fall Estey Labs Brochure to get a complete overview of all of the workshops and descriptions, instructors, dates, times and other useful information.
Note: Making Limberjacks is now on Sunday, October 7th. Click here to watch a quick video about Limberjacks.
Catapult Making has been cancelled. Our lead instructor moved away. Sorry!
Once you’ve had a chance to look over your choices, you can then register for the workshops you’d like to take. Payment is handled through PayPal, or you can use the information in the brochure to mail a check. It’s that easy, so reserve your place in the Labs soon.
Note: some courses have additional fees for materials. Check the description for details.
If you have any problems or questions, email us.
We look forward to making things with you!.
You can get involved. There are opportunities for volunteers to assist, donations of Lab materials and equipment are needed, and advice is welcome and appreciated. If you have an idea for something you could demonstrate or teach, or would like to show off what you’re making, get in touch. This project is a bit like the story of Stone Soup… the program can only improve with your contributions and efforts.
Here’s the spring Estey Organ Museum News – March 2012 with an article on the early vision for the program.
