POSTER POINTS TO PAST PROGRESS
Estey Organ Company Poster Now Available

Brattleboro, VT, USA, May 15, 2003 -- Two local stores have begun selling limited edition posters of the Estey Organ Company. The poster shows a colorful artist's rendition of an aerial view of the factory, complete with flags flying, located in the Esteyville part of town. The image was originally created around 1870 and was digitally reproduced for the poster. 500 copies have been made available and are suitable for framing.

T h e image shows the Estey factory in full operation, with smoke coming up from the chimney and people bustling about on Birge Street. "I'm sure there are people today living in some of the houses surrounding the factory shown in the image" said Christopher Grotke, Vice President of the Estey Organ Museum. "This is sure to be popular with fans of both Estey and Brattleboro history, especially as we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the town."

Baker's Hallmark (near Hannafords) and Vermont Artisan Designs on Main Street have the poster on display and available for sale for $12. You can get one mailed to you for $15 which includes $3 for shipping and handling. The poster will also be available at the museum's Engine House when it opens to the public in June. All sales benefit the Estey Organ Museum.

For further information, interviews, or screenshots, please contact Christopher Grotke.
